Location:

In an old quarry near Wizernes, Pas de Calais, France.

Description:

The museum describes the history of this site. It was build for by the Germans for launching V2 rockets and as a production site for liquid oxygen. A part of the large complex is currently opened fot public.

Opening hours:

April - October, 09.00 - 19.00
1 November - 31 March, 10.00- 18.00 uur.

Curiosities/Themes/Exhibits:

A German V2 rocket and a V1 flying bomb. It has an interactive multimedia system, that guides the audience through the system.

  The dome shaped, concrete V2 launching site in 1993. At that time there was no museum.
